Las Vegas Limo Service

Many people assume that Vegas limo service is too expensive when compared to taking a taxi. While in some cases it's cheaper to take a cab, the comfort and convenience of using a limo might be worth the extra cash, especially if you've got a large group.

Unlike a penthouse suite or a private table in the high limit room, limos in Vegas are something glamorous we all have easy access to.

Keep reading for some basic info on using limos in Las Vegas.

Vegas Limo Basics

Some basic things to remember when reserving and using a Vegas limo service:

Getting a Limo at a Hotel

Most hotels use an outside Vegas limo service to provide service to their guests. Talk to the doorman about hiring a limo, and be sure to tip (I'd recommend $5 to $10) if he or she is able to help you out.

Many properties have their own fleet of limos, but these are reserved for the casino's big players and are usually not available for hire. There are legal and licensing issues involved here, so don't get offended if a hotel limo driver won't drive you.

Alcohol in Las Vegas Limos

While many Vegas limo services have vehicles equipped with small bars, they cannot provide alcohol for you (this is a Nevada state law).

However, you are free to bring your own alcohol, so drink up.

You might be able to get the driver to stop at a liquor store for you, but this can be difficult for the driver and time consuming for you. You best bet is to buy your own liquor, schedule the limo service 15 minutes early, and stock it yourself.
